Simon Zebo is a world-class, quick and elusive winger who plays for Munster, Ireland and the British & Irish Lions. After one year in the Academy he secured a full contract at the start of the 2011/12 season and made his Heineken Cup debut that same season. The regular starting 11 since then, he scored a hat-trick of tries in the final Heineken Cup pool game against Northampton Saints and ended the 2011/12 season as leading try scorer.
Simon made his debut for Munster against Connacht in April 2010 and scored his first try for the Irish province against the Scarlets a year later. His big breakthrough came the following season as his form thrust him into contention for a senior international call-up. Representative honours include Munster & Ireland U18/20. He marked his first appearance in an Ireland senior jersey with a try in the May 29th 2012 game against the Barbarians at Kingsholm. Simon was included in the Ireland tour squad for the June Summer Tour of New Zealand and played in the opening Test in Auckland. He has since gone on to become Munster's highest try-score and was an integral part of Ireland's Rugby World Cup 2015 campaign. He is currently Munster Rugby's leading top try scorer.
